We had a load of spare kiwi fruits in the fridge. Use’em or lose’em is my motto, and a fruit-based cocktail is the best way to use’em.
It’s pretty pulpy, so I had to use a strainer for this one.
Plus, it’s green.
How To Make: Kiwitini
- 50ml of vodka
- 25ml of Cointreau
- Loads of peeled & pulped kiwi fruit
- Garnish with a slice of kiwi fruit
- Preferred glass would be a cocktail glass
Muddle the peeled kiwi fruit in a cocktail shaker and add loads of ice. Add the vodka and Cointreau, and if you fancy it a little sweeter you can add a glut of sugar sirop.
Shake well, then strain it into the cocktail glass. This usually ends up a little pulpy, so don't be afraid to shake the remainder again top top up the glass once you've had a few sips.
Garnish with a slice of kiwi fruit, naturally.
