I love a good Gimlet.
I do love the classic Gin & Roses Lime Cordial recipe in the perfect amounts, but it sometimes feels a bit cheap to me.
I like to make them with fresh lime and a sweetener for a fresher vibe. I use either a Sirop de Gomme or Agave Syrop depending on my mood.
There is a restaurant chain in London called DISHOOM which serves Indian inspired food, and they make a superb Gimlet. It features a sprig of rubbed Fennel laid across the top of the drink, and it makes their Gimlet super special. Go try it when you are in London.
