In the 90’s when I used to bartend, my most frequent customer was Alex James from Blur. He lived upstairs from the bar, and he used our bar as a second room to his flat, where to start his evening, or for next day’s recovery.
One of my pearls of wisdom is described in his biography on pages 84-85. It was about ensuring that you take a “spacer” between cocktails.
On this occasion, my spacer is taking a day off cocktails.
